Sáku is an eco-conscious brand founded in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines by local entrepreneur Yuri Perez. What began as an advocacy to lessen the use of plastic evolved into an even more meaningful cause: to help reduce textile pollution in the Philippines by creating multi-purpose, handcrafted boho bags made from upcycled flour sacks. This brand’s mission is to contribute to environmental preservation as well as provide a sustainable livelihood to a small skilled family, a person with a disability and stay-at-home mothers and grandmothers.
